A book compiled by Renee Salamon and Pauline Heffes as a tribute to Ninette Heffes, a legacy for future generations and as a celebration of a wonderful cook.A lunch for sixty people at Westminster Synagogue gave an opportunity to cook from the book using many of the middle eastern recipes such as stuffed vine leaves, Ninette’s special rice, babaganoush, belehat (fish balls), tabbouleh followed by a feast of sweeet pastries and desserts. Adults and children alike sat down to a buffet lunch creating an atmosphere that we feel Ninette would have been proud of.
